Yes, really made in Kalamzoo : it's the old Gibson factory, which was bought out by the staff.

The pots are absolutely silent, but they're right handed pots that turn the wrong way !

(These pictures might take a bit of time to
download, but I thought you should see it in
all it's glory !)
It's actually a bit of a Plain Jane : It has dot markers rather  than chunky mother of pearl, it's still got a set of nines on it rather than the 10s or 11s it deserves, and it's got a plain black scratchboard. The colour is, well, plain white wood, (maple top and back)  and it's so close grained that there's not much of a pattern on the wood at all. The colour is 'natural', but I'd say it look more like a cheap kitchen worktop. Why did I choose natural, when they do some absolutely fantastic colour finishes ? And though it was still cheaper than a left-handed Gibson ES335,it still cost me a bomb. AND, the nut wasn't cut quite right, so the third string was binding. I tried to repair it - I thought it wasn't cut low enough, and it was actually too low already, so I've had to take it to Feline Guitars, and I've only had the thing about two months !!
BUT....it's absolutely fabulous to hold, it's got perfect silent electrics, and there's no problem with action, on any fret, on any string. The frets are huge. The neck is slightly bigger than my Epiphone's, but it feels just right. The detailing on it is superb. And the sound ......(imagine Stephenstephen spreading his arms out like a fisherman who's just caught Moby Dick).
